Hey!! I just finished the book Evil Genius, finally, right? I really liked it and I give it a 4/5. Here is the synopsis from Goodreads:
Cadel Piggott has a genius IQ and a fascination with systems of all kinds. At seven, he was illegally hacking into computers. Now he's fourteen and studying for his World Domination degree, taking classes like embezzlement, misinformation, forgery, and infiltration at the institute founded by criminal mastermind Dr. Phineas Darkkon. Although Cadel may be advanced beyond his years, at heart he's a lonely kid. When he falls for the mysterious and brilliant Kay-Lee, he begins to question the moral implications of his studies for the first time. But is it too late to stop Dr. Darkkon from carrying out his evil plot?
This book was really really good. The plot was interesting, science fiction is a genre I love and the story wasn't pointless. But for some reason this book wasn't I-can't-put-it-down amazing. For some reason it took me a long time to read and that's never a good sign. I think it might have been the fact that the main character, Cadel, wasn't very relatable. Frankly, I didn't care all that much what happened to him. But, I still think this is a really good book and would recommend it to people who like the science fiction genre.
This is my first review so it's short and really bad, but I promise that I will get better at it. Please bear with me...
