It's been a long time grasshopper...
But honestly, zero followers, I am so sorry I haven't posted in TWO WEEKS. I have been busy. Okay. No. That's a lie. I have been busy reading, which I think is understandable. This extreme boredom has lead me to the unthinkable... I created a Facebook account. Click here to view my profile. I am still a newbie so don't judge me. I think I might create a Facebook page for my blog, though. Oh and as a response to Amira's blog post, I do read all day, I am truly lucky.

I'M BACK
Salutations, zero followers. I have an apology to make. I deleted my blog, and I'm sorry, but now I'm un-deleting it so I hope you guys aren't too angry with me. The truth is, my blog started getting viewed by people I know and being my pathetic self, I got scared. I promise I won't delete my blog again, even if I am petrified of people I know reading it. In other news, I have made a few changes to the design and also how I run it, but more on that later. Thank you for understanding.

Happy Birthday, Amira!
Zero followers, today I have some exciting news!!! It's Amira's birthday!! She probably won't read this today because of her messed up internet connection but I would like to wish her a Happy Birthday. I will be going to her house for her birthday party with N.A. later so... I will see her then. If for some reason you don't know who Amira is (even though I talk about her a lot) check out her blog! Later today I will review the book "The Raven Boys" because well, duh, it's Friday. I am also currently reading the book "Matched" and an hour ago I finished "Lament: the faerie queen's deception" I might review one of these next week. Next week I will also be working on finishing the Harry Potter series because someone told me I really should. I know, I know, what bookworm hasn't read Harry Potter, right? It's not so much that the books were bad its just that in the fourth book I liked where the story was and in the fifth book everything seemed to fall apart (aka Sirius dying). But yeah next week I'll finish the series. Oh yeah and if you are a student enjoy your summer vacation. I can't believe I forgot about that. Sorry, I am sleep deprived today, been reading as always.

Crown Duel Review
Young Countess Meliara swears to her dying father that she and her brother will defend their people from the growing greed of the king. That promise leads them into a war for which they are ill-prepared, which threatens the very people they are trying to protect. But war is simple compared to what follows, in peacetime. Meliara is summoned to live at the royal palace, where friends and enemies look alike, and intrigue fills the dance halls and the drawing rooms. If she is to survive, Meliara must learn a whole new way of fighting-with wits and words and secret alliances.
In war, at least, she knew in whom she could trust. Now she can trust no one.
The first thing I have to say about this book is that the beginning was a bit slow. It took a while to truly grasp who Meliara and her brother Bran were and that the were going to lead a rebellion. I also didn't know that the King Galdran was not a very liked ruler until part-way through the book. But after the part where they allied with Shevraeth, it was all uphill. I found myself getting really into story and being suspicious of every new character introduced. The one character I didn't like very much was Bran, while the rest of the characters remained constant personality wise, I felt that his character wasn't very well developed. It started off where he was a very important character but then the author seemed to drop him. He showed up less frequently as the book progressed, frankly I didn't understand him at all. But that is a small flaw in a truly amazing book, so I recommend this book for all the people who love fantasy and books about kings and queens (I still have no name for them). I really loved this book!

Sir Ernest Macmillan 5K Challenge
Hello zero followers (and Amira)!!! Today you will never guess what I did. I FINISHED A 5K CHALLENGE!!!!! For those of you that don't know 5K stands for 5 kilometers. Now, you guys have come to know me as a bookworm... which is why I am so proud that I finished. Mind you, I did not do well at all. I don't even know what I placed and I think my time was about 39 mins. They had stopped recording times by the time I finished. Nevertheless, I am proud of my achievement (ha I probably made it sound like I won).
Now, on the other hand my friend Amira did very very very very well, even if she said in her post that she didn't. Her time was 24:45!!!!! That is amazing, she should be so proud. Like she said she is still young, and I can't even imagine how good she'll do when she gets older. Amira and I have two really awesome friends and for blogging purposes I am going to call them AA and NA (their initials). Both AA and NA ran the 5K. NA and I finished the race together, after I caught up to her. Catching up to her was not easy, I could see her in front of me and every time I ran to catch up with her she sped up. Then, when I slowed down, so did she. This went on for a very long time, until finally I caught up to her and we decided to finish the race together. All in all, doing the 5K run was actually fun (i know, i know that rhymed). But really if you're like me (not athletic at all) and you are ever offered the opportunity to try to run 5K, you should take it. Think of it this way, if I, the bookworm, can do it, then so can you.

P.S Photos from the race coming soon...
My friend, Amira
Hi again everyone!!! (or no one depending on how you see it, but today I feel positive) I would like to introduce my friend Amira, who is somewhat new to the blogger community. Let's give her a big welcome!!! Her blog, Random Questions of Life, is really cool, so you should follow her. I felt that I had to introduce her because of how awesome she is, and how awesome her blog is going to be. It will be really interesting, way more interesting than a certain book blog I am VERY familiar with (cough cough). I wonder who didn't understand what I meant in the previous sentence. In an odd attempt to make you check out Amira's blog, I will post 10 links to it. Enjoy!

Evil Genius Review
Hey!! I just finished the book Evil Genius, finally, right? I really liked it and I give it a 4/5. Here is the synopsis from Goodreads:
Cadel Piggott has a genius IQ and a fascination with systems of all kinds. At seven, he was illegally hacking into computers. Now he's fourteen and studying for his World Domination degree, taking classes like embezzlement, misinformation, forgery, and infiltration at the institute founded by criminal mastermind Dr. Phineas Darkkon. Although Cadel may be advanced beyond his years, at heart he's a lonely kid. When he falls for the mysterious and brilliant Kay-Lee, he begins to question the moral implications of his studies for the first time. But is it too late to stop Dr. Darkkon from carrying out his evil plot?
This book was really really good. The plot was interesting, science fiction is a genre I love and the story wasn't pointless. But for some reason this book wasn't I-can't-put-it-down amazing. For some reason it took me a long time to read and that's never a good sign. I think it might have been the fact that the main character, Cadel, wasn't very relatable. Frankly, I didn't care all that much what happened to him. But, I still think this is a really good book and would recommend it to people who like the science fiction genre.
This is my first review so it's short and really bad, but I promise that I will get better at it. Please bear with me...
